Parvahna began dancing when she was 3 years old, and progressed through ballet, gymnastics, tap, and African.  Her first dance memory is wearing a pink glittery-fringed leotard at a pizza parlor dance recital while tapping to the song “Happy Hands are hands that say:  Hello! And How are You?”  Parvahna became interested in bellydancing in 1996 when she saw Patti (Om Sadig) perform an amazing sword and veil dance at a pre-wedding celebration.  Patti inspired her with the line, “Can you do this? You can do this!” beginning Parvahna’s bellydance journey of almost 20 years. Parvahna loves improvisational veil work.  She enjoys dancing with music from different cultures and styles. She motivates to improve by figuring out new choreography with the group. Parvahna values the friendships developed and strength drawn from her bellydance circle.
